| Over the weekend of Friday 6th March - Sunday 8th March 2026, the WORLD MODERN JIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS were held at The Winter Gardens, Blackpool in the magnificent Ballroom. | |

Now anyone who knows our very own WBro Jorge Perez Provincial Grand Junior Warden & has ever enjoyed his company on numerous social occasions will know that Jorge can 'Jive' and is never short of willing female partners to join him on the dance floor.

| Well, this year, Jorge ('Swivel Hips' to his mates) decided to enter the WORLD MODERN JIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS & I am delighted to report that he finished FOURTH in his category & was awarded medal for his achievements! | |

| Well done Jorge! I have no doubt that when next out socially with old 'Swivel Hips' will be strutting his stuff on every opportunity including at the next Mark Provincial Ball on 24th October! | |
